HOW THIS WEBSITE CAME ABOUT
The idea behind the creation of this Website came from my observing that people in Facebook Groups were regularly requesting Wedding Photographer recommendations.
It's a fact that the large majority of commercial directories only list businesses that pay! That means simply that ANY Wedding Photographer, good or bad, can pay to be listed!
Together with outdated 'dead links' and so many 'out of area' businesses listed, it can certainly make for a challenging and annoying user experience when searching for your ideal Photographer
I decided to create a dedicated comprehensive Website with a reliable listing of links to only the best local Wedding Photographers. With FREE listing, I intended this to be just for my own home county of Norfolk! It didn't quite work out that way lol!
This website I have now created is a serious project for me! I am intent on making it successfully beneficial for both Photographers and Clients. ALL links will be manually checked BY ME 2-3 times a week! It's a pleasurable, but time consuming task!
Please don't underestimate the time it has taken for me to create this website!
....and the amount of time I will have to give to maintaining its credibility, its reliability and its functionality!
The credibility and success of this website rests on the principal of a great Wedding Photographer being listed solely by 'merit', and not by 'payment' However, I simply have not got the spare time to devote 20 hours a week to a completely non paying business project!
Showcasing for Norfolk Wedding Photographers will remain FREE, as I had originally planned!
However, I do invite a nominal listing fee from other showcased Photographers!
I have very strict listing requirements in place, and no Photographer can simply 'buy themselves' on to this Website. Only the BEST top Wedding Photographers will be accepted to be Showcased.
